In the series of biological paintings, the post-impressionist influence of Gauguin and Seurat is evident in the stable compositions, highly saturated color combinations, and sharp contrasts of color with complementary colors.

There are also works with the high-contrast light and dark techniques of medieval Baroque paintings, as well as works with the soft light of the Impressionist period, making them a must-see. The careful treatment of the edges and the choice of muddy colors are the result of the artist’s high level of skill.

While most of the works are figurative paintings, there are also works that shift from figurative to anti-abstract, and works that mix Western motifs with Japanese beauties as seen in ukiyoe prints, showing that the artist has been influenced by art from a wide range of sources.
